Obsession - Radical Islam’s War Against The West
A few weeks ago I reached into my mailbox to find a free DVD that I was not expecting. It was a copy of “Obsession - Radical Islam’s War Against The West” in the mail. I have no idea what mailing I got on to deserve a free DVD. But by the way the title of the movie was spelled with Islams cresent symbol at one end and an AK-47 at the other it was obvious this had to be blatant propaganda. So I looked up who put the DVD out. “The Clarion Fund” which is an “organization founded by Canadian-Israeli film producer Raphael Shore”. So I think to myself oh here we go, some good ole fashioned Jewish fear-mongering propaganda this is definitely worth a watch. So I sit down with beer in hand to enjoy a movie laden with over-hyped stereotypes that have been shoved down our throats ever since 9-11.
Some of the crazier things the movie says is that Islam tells it’s followers that Jews cook with the blood of Christians when they make Matzah. There was an entire section equating Islam to Nazi Germany. There were many images of fanatical Muslim children toting guns and saying ‘DEATH TO AMERICA”. The movie makes sure to point out just how many Muslims there are in the world and just how much of a threat they can present to the western world. This is Jewish fear mongering at its best, or worst…
What it doesn’t mention is how this war of cultures is more a war of territory in Palestine and Israel. It makes no mention of Temple Mount or similar disputed holy sites. It says nothing of how Jews control an overwhelmingly disproportionate portion of the worlds wealth by manipulating western societies and banks. Don’t get me wrong I am not anti-semitic and more than I am anti-muslim. I just call it like a see it. This conflict boils down to a holy war over holy land. It’s packaged up and sold to us as a war against our freedom and culture, but don’t be fooled. Certain parties stand to make a lot of money from war profiteering and would love nothing more than for you to believe we need to go trouncing around the world attacking muslims in the defense of our ‘freedoms’.
Don’t get me wrong there are many crazy fanatic Muslims out there who would love to kill us all. But there are also crazy fanatic Christians and fanatical people in every other religion of the world. The problem is this the kind of propaganda released in this movie just starts to push the moderate Muslims even further away.
You know what they say, nothing is free. If you get a free DVD in the mail expect strings to be attached.

always follow the money. see who benefits. if you don’t want to make jews richer, don’t patronize businesses which make them richer.
muslims on pacific islands hate jews also, nowhere near jerusalem, or “palestine” . (which was the invention and a province of the romans and other ancient empires.) (did the bedouin contain themselves within any particular set of artificial borders?)
the mufti of jerusalem was an enthusiastic ally and supporter of hitler. decrying the wealth of jews is to me, just like decrying the wealth of the vatican. it smacks of jealousy. (you can’t eat stained glass, paintings or statues, so is the church really all that rich?) as americans, we each have the best opportunities in the world to become wealthy, it’s a lie that it has to be at someone elses expense. it’s not a zero sum game, as rush often reminds us. the only limit is in the resources of ones own imagination. whether i succeed or fail is mostly in my own hands, i don’t need to worry about what the jews are doing.
I agree that how much money the Jews or anyone else has for that matter shouldn’t be a concern to anyone as everyone has an opportunity to be well off if they just get off their lazy asses and try. I just am trying to get at the root of why there is this hatred. Jealousy may very well play a part in it.
the jews as a people have often rubbed their neighbors the wrong way, even before there were any muslims. some don’t regard gentiles as being part of “humanity”. i think this is the main root of the problem. another sore point, is the extent of their perceived influence within the american entertainment industry, and the co-incident coarsening of our culture.
our culture is our biggest export, and i think this causes more worldwide resentment and backlash than does our foreign policy. the average man overseas doesn’t want his daughter dressing or acting like brittany spears. (another fine product of the disney company)
My family recieved this DVD as well. I also watched it and then followed up with research into who produced and made the movie- who was distributing it, etc.
A person who takes information at face value with no interest or sense of obligation to themselves to research the information to their best ability does so at thier own peril. And anyone who basis their opion or beliefs upon one or few sources with unquestioning faith isn’t thinking for themself nor even trying.
It bugs me to think that many people will recieve this DVD and believe every word of it and include no other sources of information in the basis of the formulation of thier ideas. Is everyone too flourinated to care about what info is being fed into their minds?
Stories of the battles seldom include the fact that jews ran the palistian people off the land they were living on because they said “God gave it to them?” I doubt it.
If there is a God I wonder if it is disappointed in our interpretation of it?
